Nar Design Studio is a full-service interior design firm based in Brickell, Miami, founded in 2018 by Brazilian architects and interior designers Nicholas Gennari and Roberto Racy. Its work spans high-end residences, waterfront homes, condominiums and penthouses, as well as commercial, institutional and hospitality environments.

The studio’s Brazilian origins are visible not as a decorative theme, but in a design vocabulary that often brings together tropical materiality, natural light, custom craftsmanship and architectural rigor. From its Miami base, Nar works across South Florida and with clients nationally and internationally.

Nicholas Gennari trained in architecture at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) in Brazil before continuing his studies in Italy and the United States. The studio identifies him as NCIDQ Certified and a Registered Interior Designer in Florida. Roberto Racy is Nar’s co-founder and Principal Interior Designer; together, the two Brazilian designers lead the firm’s design work.

The company itself has a long-verifiable Florida presence. NAR DESIGN STUDIO LLC was filed with the Florida Division of Corporations on April 24, 2018 and remains active, document L18000103697. State records list both Nicholas Gennari Jemciugovas and Roberto Racy Miguel Junior as authorized members, with Gennari also listed as CEO.

Nar’s project scope goes well beyond furniture selection. Published work documents interior architecture, space planning, lighting design, custom millwork and furniture design, material specification, construction coordination, procurement, art placement, styling and final installation. The firm’s broader background also includes architecture, construction and real-estate investment.

This integrated approach is particularly visible in turnkey projects, where one design direction is carried from early planning through fabrication, construction and the final placement of furnishings and art.

The studio’s current portfolio provides unusually concrete evidence of its Miami practice. The 2025 PS Apartment at Five Park Miami Beach covers 3,014 square feet and combines interior architecture, lighting, custom millwork, procurement and art placement. Its design explicitly brings Brazilian warmth and tropical materiality into dialogue with European precision.

Other published work includes the 2025 JZ Apartment at Brickell Flatiron, a penthouse renovation in Brickell; SK Residence, a 6,072-square-foot waterfront renovation in Surfside; and a 2026 waterfront residence on La Gorce Island whose scope extends across architecture, interiors, landscape, lighting and custom millwork.

Nar also works beyond residential interiors. One especially relevant project is the 3,000-square-foot Grendene Global Brands headquarters in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District, completed in 2023. The project integrated workplace planning with the identity of the Brazilian footwear group through custom displays, FF&E, lighting, acoustics and brand integration.
